Seeing what you’re loving (over in our ShopMy) is one of my favorite things. It’s always interesting to see what resonates—what gets added to carts, what sells out, what we all seem to gravitate toward.
I’ll catch myself saying things like, “Yay! I knew they’d like that!” Because at this point, I feel like I have a pretty good sense of what we’re all looking for: wearable, easy pieces that still feel pulled together.
It reminds me how aligned we are in our style preferences. We’re all looking for pieces that feel wearable, polished, and pulled together without being fussy.
So I thought it would be fun to share a few outfit ideas using your recent favorites—along with a handful of new things I couldn’t resist. Nothing complicated, just a little seasonal refresh using pieces many of us already have.
These are flat lays—five quick looks that I’d wear any day of the week, built around what’s clearly working for all of us.
Sometimes you don’t need a whole new wardrobe. You just need to see a piece styled a little differently to remember why you loved it in the first place. And as always, look in your closet first before you shop—you might already have something you forgot about.
❤️ Let me know if you like seeing posts like this—short and sweet, visual, and easy to save. I always want these to feel helpful, not overwhelming.

The Miramar Linen Polo Sweater from Faherty has been a best seller for weeks now. Use my code THEWELLDRESSEDLIFE20 and save 20% off your order. And the Margaux MX 35 sandals are also very popular in the color saddle calf. We pulled it together with these easy linen shorts from J.Crew, a chic Tuckernuck bag for under $100 and a simple pendant necklace, also from Tuckernuck, also under $100.
Sometimes all you need is a pop of color, you know? This cotton maxi skirt from Quince is such an easy piece to build around—pair it with something more fitted on top, like this off-the-shoulder option from White House Black Market, for balance. The accessories are what really make it: I love the charm-detail sandals from Dolce Vita, this sweet little bag from Madewell, and two of our best-selling jewelry pieces from Monica Vinader—the bangle and earrings are both so good.
For a sporty look that’s also a great alternative to shorts, try a long maxi dress. This one’s from Spanx and goes up to a 3X—easy, comfortable, and super versatile. We leaned into silver accents here, with the best-selling Sam Edelman sneakers and a few silver-tone jewelry pieces. The leather-trimmed bag from Lands’ End pulls it all together—simple, chic, and perfect.
I’ve been talking a lot about leaning into dresses lately—especially while working from home. I just feel better when I put one on. This pretty navy cotton dress from Quince is only $69 and so easy to wear. Pair it with sneakers or flat sandals during the day, or dress it up a bit with a neutral heel—this best-selling pair from Dolce Vita is a favorite. Add some fun gold jewelry and the crocheted Madewell bag, and it’sjust right for a summer night out.
And finally, this one is just such a sweet look. These soft, comfy denim shorts from Gap Factory are only $22, and we paired them with a pretty embroidered top from Boden. We added the perfect summer hat, a few beach-inspired jewelry pieces, and these are the non-leather version of my favorite sandals for $50 at Nordstrom. I have the originals (in leather) in black and nude (and wear them all the time) available here.
That’s it for this round of The Flat Lay Files! I hope these looks spark a few new ideas, whether you already own some of these pieces or you’ve had your eye on them. I always say—use what’s in your closet first. But if something here fills a gap (or just brings a little joy), I’ve linked everything for you.
Let me know if you liked this format—I’d love to keep it going. And if you end up recreating any of these, tag me or send a note. I always love seeing how you make these looks your own.

Meg
I think the Linques sandals are synthetic not leather?
Love these!
